The process started with analyzing the exhibition plan. Each space had its own proportions, screen configurations, entrances, and viewing angles, requiring a slightly different approach.

Compositions were built around the areas of the screens most naturally visible from the entrance, establishing a clear focal point while using secondary elements across the wider canvas to maintain visual interest as viewers moved through the space.

The visual language was rooted in a restrained palette of black, white, and gold, with occasional touches of color. The client was looking for a tactile, textured quality, which led to a stylized illustration approach using grainy, screen-print-inspired textures. Light, shadow, scale, and contrast became important tools for creating hierarchy and separating elements across the enormous compositions.

Motion followed the same principles. Animations were designed to feel constantly alive - slowly moving, drifting, and evolving - while avoiding overly dynamic movements that could be difficult to follow at such a large scale or physically uncomfortable for viewers surrounded by moving imagery.

The floor illustrations, projected from the ceiling, were synchronized with the main LED animations. Rather than simply repeating what was happening on the screens, they extended the visual world into the physical space, complementing the main animation and creating a more immersive experience.
